Le grill à brochette

This grill is light and easy to make. You can take it with you wherever you go, even in the mountains or at sea, two places where the sun is particularly strong.

The reflector is a receiver dish made of an aluminium plate 5’ by 20" large, nailed on all sides. The sides are made of laminated wood and covered with aluminium.

Build, or have someone build the system with clinched or welded aluminium.

The receiver dish is fixed on two triangular stands made of laminated wood with two wing nuts so that you can point it in the direction of the sun.

The notch made on both sides, at the focus of the receiver dish, will enable you to fix your brochettes.

You have to be particularly cautious with the reflecting surface. The smoother the better. You can brush it with a duster and a metal polishing product to keep the shiny aspect.
